Chunky Cartilage Chew

Shark cartilage is packed with chrondroitin and glucosamine which are two of the major ingredients found in joint supplements.

Chondroitin helps to retain the elasticity in the cartilage around joints.This helps the joints to perform their role as shock absorbers. Glucosamine helps the body repair the cartilage that sits between joints, which acts as a cushion. 

Shark cartilage is an excellent choice for senior dogs who may find it assists in alleviating the symptoms of arthritis. 

It is also jam packed with Omega fatty acids, which are excellent for heart health, reducing inflammation and giving a nice shiny coat.

Finally, shark cartilage is also a great source of calcium. It is perfect for raw feeders who aren't comfortable feeding bone to incorporate calcium into the diet. It is also much less dense than bones, therefore there is no worry about whether your dog will crack a tooth eating it. Whilst it isn't as hard as bone, it is still a good dental workout and will help to dislodge any plaque which may be forming.
